"From a cool climate region, this wine has wonderful Riesling purity.  The fragrant nose displays fresh limes and lemons with a mineral edge.  The medium palate is elegant and succulent with fruit intensity and racy acidity.  The finish is very fine and lingering.  Very impressive."

In April 08 we did a blind-tasting of our whites for the Wellington Food Show and this wine came out as the best white.  In this world where 95% of wine is drunk within 24hrs of being bought, it is nice to see how amazingly a white wine develops in the bottle.  It reinforces the view that Riesling is the most noble of the white varieties.

Tasting notes April 08:

Soft creamy stone fruit flavours intertwined with mineral tones.  Perfectly balanced acidity, and a long, long finish.  Yum!

Tasting notes 05:

Bright light yellow with some green tints.

Soft floral aromas, such as jasmine, in balance with citric notes.

Citrus fruit notes such as grapefruit, mineral hints. Young and fresh. Good acidity and body.
